The Large Machine Checking Gage kit (MCG2) is suitable for machines larger than 40 in (1000 mm) cubed.
The Renishaw MCG is designed for rapid, volumetric accuracy evaluation for CMMs. The gage takes account of variations due to probe, machine and software errors.
The MCG1 Small checking gauge kit specifications include:
Machine suitability: 1 m³ (35 ft³)
Total gauge error: ±0.5 µm (±0.00002 in)
Arms size: Up to 685 mm
Dimensions up to: X 986 and Z 986
Renishaw’s Machine checking gauge (MCG) provides an easy way to monitor the volumetric measurement performance of your co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM). The results give assurance that measurements taken on the CMM are accurate, or give conclusive proof that servicing or re-calibration work is needed. The process is quick and cost effective and a range of pillar heights and arm lengths mean that volumetric accuracy can be checked on both large and small CMMs.
