This is an M3 ruby ball stylus with stainless steel stems. It is stylus A-5003-6257.
This straight stylus can be used for simple features with which direct contact can be made. The stainless steel stem offers superior rigidity and is ideal for applications where weight is not a concern. Silicon nitride tips are recommended when scanning aluminum because particles will not be deposited on the surface.
