The HPPA (high precision pull-down arm) is a manual ‘pull-down’ ‘push-up’ tool setting system for use on CNC lathes. When needed, the HPPA is manually ‘pulled-down’ into position. After use, the arm is ‘pushed-up’ away from the cutting volume. All HPPA and HPMA systems are supplied with an enclosure to protect the probe and stylus assembly when not in use. HPPA and HPMA hubs are available in both R/E (rear exit ) and S/E (side exit) configurations. S/E hubs are supplied with a fixed 5 m cable. R/E hubs are supplied with a bulkhead connector and require the purchase of a separate cable.
